SIMULATED DEMO · ANDROID TV

Try Aura, no TV and no NAS needed.

Start the simulated scan: the library is built in six phases, then browse the streaming-style home with the virtual remote or your keyboard arrows.

This page does not run the real product: it is a simulation that runs only in your browser, with no network and with made-up titles, files and ratings.

1 · Discovery and pipeline

Every launch walks through the same six phases. Here they run on an invented library.

  1. SsdpDiscovery.discover()

    DLNA discovery

    Looks for MediaServers on the network (simulated).

  2. ContentDirectoryClient.browse()

    Reading the library

    UPnP Browse with recursive folder scanning.

  3. DidlParser.parse()

    DIDL-Lite parsing

    XML responses become MediaItem objects.

  4. FilenameParser.parse()

    Name cleanup

    Title and year from the file name; S01E01 and 1x01 patterns.

  5. LibraryRepository.classify()

    Classification

    Movies and episodes told apart by path and file name.

  6. TmdbClient.lookup()

    Metadata and covers

    Poster from TMDB or a generated cover with a golden badge.

2 · File name cleanup

Type a file name (or use the sample) and see how it is interpreted.

3 · Simulated TV screen

Home → Series detail → Player. Select a title by click, Enter or remote.

Without a key the app still works, with generated covers.
Virtual remote

No file is downloaded or played. Titles, files, durations and ratings are made up.
